Only the Good Stuff. Promise!

Dear Friends,

Three days in a row. Don't leave me now. I'm only sending you the good stuff! I'll try not to make another appearance in your email inbox for a few days. Except for our sale announcement (see below)!

Are you in the mood for spring? It IS March, after all. Then comes Easter. And next, Mother's Day, and... before you know it, the you-know-whats will be here again. See, isn't it better to focus on spring?

Friends, you just can't seem to get enough scarves. Because scarves are an inexpensive way to perk up your wardrobe, and with many priced at $28 and under, I can understand. So I've hand chosen a whole new batch of lightweight, colorful scarves with you in mind.

Asian Eye brand is like an Eveready Battery. It just keeps going and going. Just when you think they can't outdo themselves, a delightful fresh selection shows up at our door. This spring you'll also find Tickled Pink scarves (now in), Pistil (great quality accessories, including belts and hats, coming soon), and more. Suzi Roher doesn't quit either, with new exquisite and irresistible belts. And a whole mess'o tinkly, bright jewelry from Treska adorns our front counter.

Don't skip the end of this post; we are having a huge sale. The public announcement goes out tomorrow. But you, my loyal blog readers, can start now! Fifty percent and more off all remaining winter things. And there's a whole lot'o loot left in here. Some things just need to go, and I've marked them down to $9.99. It's almost embarrassing. But we gotta make space. Get in here!

Why is a Jill McGowan blouse truly different?

Design. The company is designer-owned. Based in Portland, Maine, Jill offers full, fitted or relaxed silhouettes in multiple fabrics. She also offers fresh clean silhouettes that endure fashion whims.

Jill McGowan "Astrid" blouse
Construction. Tailoring is based on the principle that women's shirts should last and last. The shirts are made in the USA, one shirt at a time, with single needle tailoring, French seams (eliminates fraying), and woven interlining (unlike fused interlining, woven interlining will last the lifetime of the shirt)
.

"Astrid" is my favorite Jill McGowan style. The three-piece back fits better than the other styles. With a length short enough for the blouse to double as a jacket, you just can't go wrong with this blouse.

In stock at Renee's in the lemon cotton chambray (above right) and blue cotton chambray (above left), if those aren't your colors we can special order your favorite. Are you as into yellow this season as I am? I love all the buttery colors I've been seeing.

JudyP was created because the designer and owner needed a “go to” top. You know, the one you pull out of your closet, put on, and know you will look good all day long. It has to be versatile, but most important...it has to make you look and feel great!
