Fresh Out of the Box

Stella Carakasi

Dear friends,

This is going to be a quick note because it's late. Please excuse my brevity and fragmented sentences. And some poor photos... I'm headed to Portland tomorrow for a short buying trip. Before I go, I would be remiss if I didn't show you this week's abundant and beautiful new arrivals...

1. A new line for Renee's: Alembika. (Al-em-be´-kuh) It's Israeli. A characteristic of the line: mixing prints. Colors: black, gray, red, white, khaki. Prints: bubble, stripe, mix. Pictured below.

details

2. Fly London black perforated suede wedge. Slip on. Comfy yet cute. Love.

3. Planet. Pink vent-back oxford shirt. Swoon! Tunic length. Other styles (some not pictured; please ask if interested): black and white stripe smock blouse 98 ctn/2 lycra; white "spa" laser-cut tank (softest cotton, long, uneven hem, great for layering, loose); white and black pencil stripe tee (softest cotton); v-neck rib bottom sweater in coral and cornflower blue.

Planet's yummy sweater in blue... How do they make it so flattering?

... and coral (not red like it looks here)

Vent back. Cool cut. Tunic length. Pink!

Oxford cloth! Photo = NO justice!

Planet has such delicious, soft cotton. They call it their "spa" collection.

4. Vitamin blouses. Gray herringbone with snap tape (another swoon!) and navy/white stripe (not pictured. It should be pictured; it's great).

Pic does NOT do this beautiful show piece justice!

detail with tag (!) Forgive the ugly white tag...

5. J Brand jeans. New! J Brand"legitimizes" Renee's. (I had to "apply" to bring you this line.  Ooooh, so exclusive... ) Contemporary line (read: young). High rise, dark wash, skinny fit.

6. Stella Carakasi (not pictured; should be, but arrived too late. If interested, please ask. I will feature it here soon). Fabrics include organic cotton, linen, hemp, tencel and modal. Berkeley, California-based.

7. Majestic tees. Luxurious layering tops. French. Leaning toward contemporary (again, younger) fit. Only one ugly picture below, but we received beautiful tops from them. Believe me.

This is my personal fav layering tank. I wear it almost every day.

8. More dresses. Pictured.

Pretty cerulean (Google it!) blue color.

The always-flattering wrap style

9. Alashan 95 cotton 5 cashmere cardigan sweaters. Restocking our supply. Best sellers. Love. The best quality/price ratio. Colors: sky blue, cruise blue (royal), ash gray (light gray), white, midnight navy, lavender ice, Paris rose (coral), blue jeans. Unfortunately, not pictured. :(

10. FDJ French Dressing traditional jeans. High rise, dark wash, no fading, even coloring, straight leg (not skinny).

FDJ. For the opposite customer of J Brand jeans (#5 above)

11. Prairie Cotton and Necessitees. Great cotton tops. Work-horses for your wardrobe. Great way to get colors in your wardrobe. Inexpensive, but good quality. Colors include black, white, salmon, punch red, smoke, wasabi, aqua, cobalt and more.

Marlene and I have been opening boxes like mad this week. All the new arrivals are on hangers for you to see, but they are not displayed (merchandised) all pretty yet. Soon.

You, my beloved readers, now get the scoop. (It pays to read all the way to the bottom.) Ready? All the sale items are now marked 70% off. Unbelievable deals to be had. At these prices, the stuff's gonna be GONE quick. Public announcement goes out next week...

That's it, my friends. Gotta get home and catch a few winks before I head out at 5 am (just a few hours away). Have a great weekend, and see you soon!

With love,

Renee
