Step Into Luxury: Aquatalia Now in at Renee's!

Dear Readers,
Allow me to introduce the world's first weatherproof, stain resistant footwear collection using the finest Italian leathers and suedes available: Aquatalia by Marvin K. Now it's available to you in Everett, Washington at Renee's!

Launched in 1989, Aquatalia was created in Italy with methods that would enable the finest materials to withstand the harsh elements. The world’s most exceptional leathers and suedes come from Milan, where founder, president and creative director Marvin K. works with Aquatalia's lead designer to ensure that the centuries-old craftsmanship of Italy, modern footwear technology and luxury styling are evident in every step you take.

Functional Luxury

What's so great about Aquatalia footwear? First, the shoes are fashionable and on trend. Second, not only are they comfortable, but through a unique technological process, the leather is waterproofed during the tanning process. This allows your feet to stay warm and dry in the rain and snow that is ubiquitous in Washington while remaining stylish. Third: non-slip bottoms will keep you safe and steady in any slippery kind of weather. Next, the styles are wearable for women of all ages. Finally, Made in Italy is the stamp of quality on each and every Aquatalia by Marvin K. design. To sum up, Aquatalia is functional luxury.

Aquatalia shoes reflect the design and craftsmanship of Italy and expertise in manufacturing and weatherproof technology.

Aquatalia has perfected the art of fusing technical elements to the latest fashion in footwear. Ease and comfort remain essential ingredients to looking fabulous every day. The Aquatalia collection can be worn day, night or weekend, with styling for today’s busy, modern lifestyle.

The Fall-Winter collections offer style and protection in a range of boots, booties and shoes.

Stop in soon to take a peek at these phenominal, functional, luxuriously stylish boots, booties and shoes now available at Renee's. And as always, thanks for your support!

With love,
Renee

New York Buying Trip for Spring 2012

Hello, dear readers!

I returned from my twice-a-year buying trip to New York City late last night full of excitement, renewed energy, and enthusiasm.

I am thrilled about finding a beautiful spring collection of items for you that I think you'll just love! Some of the orders will arrive soon, but the majority will come in after Christmas.

Specifically, you'll find bright colors, including beautiful pink, green, and floral printed handbags from Hobo, and more innovative bags from Liebeskind. New smoothers and shapers will be arriving from Cass and Co. and Spanx. Of course the ever popular line Nic + Zoe collection looked wearable and useful, too.

Trends I noticed included "cold shoulder" tops (cut-out shoulders), and the color coral continues to be popular.

Of course I couldn't pass up ordering a few pieces of Annette Gortz for spring, including many of the items pictured here. If you want to see photos (or special order pieces for yourself) of the entire Annette Gortz line, please email me at reneesclothing@yahoo.com. I will reply with the entire look book.

Thank you for your continued support of Renee's boutique, where I custom order everything with you in mind. We hope you'll come in soon to take a look at all of our new fall arrivals!

With love,
Renee

Wooden Ships: Cozy Fall Sweaters

Dear Readers,
We are excited about our fall collection at Renee's! One of the eye-catching new lines we've brought in for the season is Wooden Ships sweaters and accessories.

Getting Started. Colombian-born designer Paola Buendia and her husband, Mark Donovan, founded wooden ships in 1992. The couple met as undergraduates at Harvard. Spurred by a four-month trip to Bali, they founded the company two years after graduation.
Comfort Food. Paola: There is something so comforting about knits. For me, looking good is totally connected to feeling comfortable. Plus knits have a slouchiness that makes them immediately casual, and that is very much my style. I love fashion but not necessarily the fashion world, so I love that within that, Wooden Ships gets to be the "comfort food." Who doesn’t love a snuggly beret and mittens? It’s primal!

Customers. Mark: We receive so many emails from consumers telling us about a favorite wooden ships piece they have loved almost to bits. I actually keep a file where I save the messages that say "wow." We want to do a great job for our customers.

Gifts. Renee: I love these light weight sweaters and the fun accessories. Everything in this line will make wonderful gifts: mittens, fingerless gloves, hats, scarves and above all, sweaters. We are carrying all the styles pictured here in a variety of colors.

Come visit Renee's and take a peek. Cooler weather is just around the corner, and you'll love to throw on a Wooden Ships sweater when it hits.
With love,
Renee

The Last Best Raincoat You Will Ever Need

Mycra Pac's bright, stylish reversible raincoat with a hood tucked in the collar is the last best raincoat you will ever need.

Available in red, gold, or black, the slicker shell is waterproof polyurethane fabric; the other side is black water resistant polyester and nylon. The cuffs turn up for contrast, and the innovative magnetic closure quickly snaps closed.

The manufacturer's tag offers these cleaning instructions: "Hand wash, drip dry. Do not machine wash or dry clean."

This three-quarter length coat is a practical solution to rainy weather! In addition, the fabric lends itself to travel; it's highly packable and wrinkle free.

Each coat comes with a free matching bag. Marlene and I invite you to stop by and take a look at these wonderful coats. We look forward to seeing you.

With love,

Renee
